Only two (2) pets (dogs or cats) per unit are allowed on Sugar Beach Property, with the consent of the unit owner.
The following breeds (purebred or mixed) are not permitted per our insurance underwriter:
Pets must be on a leash while on the property per Bay County Code Chapter 4. "Direct Control" requires a leash or tether, and pets must obey commands. Tethering to fixtures outside units and outdoor fences/structures are prohibited by Florida Law.
All guests must immediately collect and dispose of pet waste in provided receptacles. Failure to clean up incurs a $25.00 fine per occurrence, billed to the unit owner.
Pets must not cause nuisances (e.g., continuous barking, odors, infestations) to other owners or lessees.
Pets are not allowed in the clubhouse, pool area, grill area, tennis court, pond, or landscape beds. Designated dog-walk areas are available.
Owners and guests must register pets at the front desk, providing current vaccination proof and receiving a pet tag to be worn at all times. Unregistered pets incur a fee and fine, billed to the owner.
